9/11 Anniversary Teaching Topic

This week we have talked a lot about 9/11 and the influence it had on our country's security and well-being. Today I talked to the kids about a book I read last summer. I recommended students to read the book with an adult just for support in understanding what is happening throughout the book. There is no violence that I recall, but the ideas discussed are complex for these kids. If you are interested in reading the book with your child, here is the title and picture of the book.
