I hope you are staying warm! The bitter cold has definitely found us here in MO. Here are a few updates and reminders:
- We will be having a math test either this coming Friday or the following Tuesday. It will depend on the lessons we get through this week and how much time we will need to review. A packet of practice problems will be sent home the evening before the test. We also will review in class the day before the test.
- We have embarked on our Famous Missourians journey! It is always fun to see students get so interested in researching and presenting about a famous person. The project ties an informational writing piece, a poster, and ultimately a live museum together. At the live museum, kids will be able to dress like the Missourian and use props and a poster to inform visitors about the person. I will send home a specific date for the live museum when the time comes.
- We have wrapped up our waves unit in science and are moving on to energy, starting Monday.
- COMING HOME THIS WEEK IN FRIDAY FOLDERS (see picture on right) is the infamous sign up sheet for parent-teacher conferences. Please circle three times (or even more) that work for you and I will schedule you when it works. If there are no times that work for you, please email me so we can set up an alternative time.
