We've almost made it through another week! Here are few notes for you:
- Book projects and opinion writing will be due tomorrow when your student arrives at school (Honor's Choir kids will present book projects on Monday)
- MAP Testing is coming right up! I will be buying some headphones/earbuds for kids that need them. They are at the dollar store. If your student needs a pair, please let me know. I will make that happen. As of right now, about half of our class is without headphones. Yikes!!
- There will be a note in Friday folders about baby pictures. We always do something special at the end of the year for the kids, so if you would send a picture of your child as a baby/toddler, that'd be great!
- I will be sending home a massive calendar of events for the end of the year for fifth grade. This is something that will be posted in our room as well. It would be a great thing to hang on the refrigerator! It gets so busy.
- Next Friday we will be having counselors from Gentry meet with our students. Also note that the "Get Acquainted" night at Gentry is May 1 from 6-7:30 pm.
